Thrill of a Dill - Dip Mix

Thrill of the Dill is magical!! So much so that I ran through my small, 2 oz package far too quickly. The answer? Reorder the industrial size, 16 ozs of goodness! Wrong. While the packaging on the smaller containers is substantial with a built-in zip lock closure, the larger package is fragile, flimsy, and held together with a single, sharp staple. As I said: Beware! I cut my finger on the very sharp staple while trying to open the bag, spending time trying to avoid bleeding on my yummy seasoning mix. Then, as I tried to transfer the mix from the bag to a sealed canister, envisioning all the delicious dips and recipes in my future, the thin cellophane bag ripped, scattering 1/3 of the product all over my counter and floor. That 16 oz bag is a menace!!! It's not resealable and doesn't even stand up to being opened. For $30, I expected so much more. But on the bright side, I do have 2/3rds of a bag of delightful dill and my finger has healed!

I've been using Thrill of a Dill dip mix for several years now. It's a great way to season cooked vegetables. Just steam the veggie, drain, add butter, salt & pepper and Thrill of a Dill and it's yummy!
