A sweet blend of ginger and spice and pumpkin is nice! Mix with cream cheese and you have a delicious spread for bagels, graham crackers, scones, or muffins. Create a frosting by adding marshmallow cream to the mixture.
Ingredients:
Crystallized Ginger, Pumpkin Flakes, Brown Sugar, and Spices.

Pleasingly Pumpkin Recipes
PLEASINGLY PUMPKIN SPREAD
- 8 oz. Cream Cheese
- 1 Pkg. PLEASINGLY PUMPKIN
- ½ Cup Toasted, Chopped Nuts(optional—pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts, etc.)
Empty the entire package of PLEASINGLY PLUMPKIN mix into a small bowl. Add ¼ cup boiling water. Stir and let sit for 15 minutes. Soften cream cheese in a microwave proof bowl for approximately 45 seconds. Add the rehydrated “pumpkin” mixture and blend well. Fold in chopped nuts and refrigerate until serving time. For easier spreading bring to room temperature…and, be ready for a tastebud treat!
PLEASINGLY PLUMPKIN FROSTING OR FILLING

8 oz. Cream Cheese

1 Pkg. PLEASINGLY PUMPKIN

½ Cup Nuts (optional)
Follow directions for the spread recipe and add the marshmallow crème topping that has been “zapped” in the microwave for 20 seconds. This is delicious as a cake frosting (carrot cake, date cake, apple cake, gingerbread, etc.) or between layers of angel food or pound cake. Use your imagination and treat yourself to your own concoctions!
PLUMPKIN CRÈME
- 1 Pint Whipping Crème
- 1 Pkg. PLEASINGLY PUMPKIN
Empty the entire package of PLEASINGLY PUMPKIN mix into a small bowl. Add ¼ cup boiling water. Stir and let sit for 15 minutes. Pour whipping cream into a small bowl and add the PLEASING PUMPKIN mix and stir well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Now, beat the whipping cream mixture until stiff. This may be used as a frosting, filling or spread on anything your heart desires. Yields 4 cups.

NOTE: Place contents of package into a clean jar. Shake well. It is important to mix up the spices before making each recipe. Store remaining dry mix in a cool, dry place.
I just add it to my basic scone recipe along with a bit of extra milk to offset the dryness and it makes amazing pumpkin scones.
I tried this at a craft show in Albuquerque New Mexico for the first time and I am hooked. This is definitely a crowd pleaser. Anyone who has tried it always likes it.
We have always added a generous 3 tablespoons of Pleasingly Plumpkin to our waffles and pancakes which makes them extra special!
I haven't ordered in awhile because I thought I had packets in my pantry but when I went to find them, I found my husband had gotten rid of them in a clean out fever he and our cleaning lady had when I was at work. I'll kill them if they do it again so I had to replace those I had had. Now I'm ready. Love both flavors I picked. I first tried them at a craft sale in Mound City, KS several years ago. Pumpkin and It's Greek to me, I think that's how it's phrased, were wonderful and always a hit.
